I bought one for my daughter at uni and one for me and my partner. How to Use Scanovus Automatic Ironing Machine

1. Start with a damp garment – ideally straight from the washing machine.
2. Place it on the pad at the base of the machine.
3. Attach the magnetic weight clamps to the bottom of the garment to keep it stretched and smooth.
4. Turn on the machine – Scanovus handles the rest.

In just 5–15 minutes, depending on the fabric and thickness, your clothing will be dried, ironed, and ready to wear.

How does the Scanovus Automatic Ironing Machine work?

The machine uses a heated airflow system and an inflatable garment form to dry and de-wrinkle clothes. You simply hang a damp shirt or garment on the balloon form, zip and secure it, set the timer and temperature, and in about 8–12 minutes, your clothes are dry and wrinkle-free.

What types of clothes can I use it for?

It’s ideal for shirts, blouses, t-shirts, polos, and light sweaters. It can also be used on some types of trousers and shoes (with the correct attachments), but it’s not designed for heavy fabrics like denim or formal suits.

Does it completely replace ironing?

For most casual and everyday wear, yes. However, for precise ironing—especially sharp creases or stiff collars and cuffs—you may still need to use a traditional iron occasionally.

Is it safe to use on delicate fabrics?

Yes. The machine has adjustable temperature settings to suit various materials, including synthetics, cotton, and delicates. Always check garment care labels and start with a lower temperature for delicate fabrics.

How to get best results?

Start with a damp shirt
For optimal results, the shirt should be damp. We recommend using it straight from the wash – alternatively, lightly mist it with a spray bottle once it’s on the machine.

Adjust the size properly
The shirt balloon has two zippers on each side. The more you unzip them, the wider and tighter the fit becomes – essential for removing wrinkles. If you need more length, adjust the upper telescopic rods.

Use the weight clips correctly
Place one clip on each side, plus one in the front and one in the back, to keep the shirt stretched during the ironing process.

Adjust temperature and time
Easily set both temperature and time via the touch panel. Use a lower setting for delicate fabrics and higher heat for materials like cotton.

Fold the collar up
Don’t forget to fold the collar up around the top of the shirt balloon – that way, it gets smoothed out too.
